I think most of the people that work here shouldn't even have there jobs I saw one c.o. sleeping behind the desk and every time I call they take forever to answer the phones if they answer at all I don't know I've never been in trouble in my life but I'll tell u this much the Mayor just so happens to be a good friend of mine and I have been trying for a few days now to find out something about my sons girlfriend who is locked up there but no one answers me so I'm going to be calling the Mayor myself first thing Monday were see what happens then
Horrible I still have nightmares about this horrible place the staff sucks except for one captain.it's filthy dirty .it's maximum security so if you in here innocently or just for drugs you will be thrown in with rapists and violent criminals.it's not even the inmates that are the problem it's the crooked ass c o.s that think they can disrespect you with off color remarks they are sexist pigs I have witness d them making racist comments as well as sexual ones .I know it's not the Ritz Carlton you are in jail but everybody deserves respect.my poor bf drove all the way from Norwalk CT a 2 hr drive to bond me out and they had him waiting from 9 pm to midnight outside well they forgot about me cause they were too busy fooling around and sleeping .as far as I'm concerned this place should be shut down and condemned CT is the worst place for justice .so many people there that need mental health treatment and are forced to live in those conditions for CT must make money at all times.I was disrespected and called a skeleton by one of the so called co.please look into this place as it violating people's rights and they are being treated inhumane and unfairly.

Horrible no one ever answers the phone to get inquiries
First off, beautiful architecture. Caught me and my family's eye as soon as we drove up. The staff was extremely friendly and was extremely flexible when fitting my son George's diet (George is a very picky eater!!!). We were surprised how friendly all the other guests were with our family and would love to return to this beautiful facility!!! (P.S. the manager's dogs are sweet and great with kids.)
