If you blink, you will miss the side street that takes you to parking for the beach. That is understandable because there can be a lot happening on Main Street in Niantic. I recommend this spot off-season. Yiu will not have to pay, the beach won't be crowded and you can either walk down the boardwalk and back or up to McCook Park without a ton of people around.
Checked this place out a month and half ago. Really pretty views and really nice people. If you've got time and an empty belly, make sure you check out the cute candy and ice cream shop nearby.
Lovely little "tucked away" beach with "boardwalk." Known better for its small and cozy atmosphere that is kid friendly and clean! A nice place to visit and feels like your own little beach!
Nice little beach and boardwalk. Good night walk, open year round, would recommend for a date or getting your 10,000 steps.
My long time favorite beach, I was a little sad to see it became a bit crowded but good secrets don't stay secret for long. Has a gorgeous park attached for walking and views. Soft sand, gentle waves, pretty shallow. Great for kids. Very clean restrooms. Candy shop and downtown nearby.
