The food and beverage Reasonable and delish
The waitress treated our table of 6 like an afterthought and didn't bring refills, silverware, or condiments. We had to get them ourselves from other tables. When we finally got the food, it did not all come together, and was totally bland. The wings don't taste right and the calamari sauce is bland, fries have no seasoning, burger was over cooked. If you're looking for a nice meal out, try somewhere else. This seems like more of a cheap bar than a restaurant.
Fried oysters were great. Perfect texture. Clam chowder too salty must have been the bottom of the pot as I had 3 bay leaves in my bowl. Burger was good except bottom bun was soaked and squishy and toppings a little charred as it must have sat on the line for awhile. Staff was pleasant but disorganized and slow. Tables left dirty and no second drink. Was steady but not so busy to justify the bad service.
Owners wife ( julie) usually behind bar, NO SKILLS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! YELLED AT MY FRIEND WHEN THEY STATED THEIR MEAT WAS BAD, PRESENTED HERSELF WITH NASTY ATTITUDE AND LITERALLY YELLED AT THE TABLE FULL OF CUSTOMERS! FOOD IS OK BUT SHES NOT CUT OUT TO WORK WITH PEOPLE, NOT EVEN A TINY BIT OF EFFORT TO SATISFY CUSTOMER OR RECTIFY COMPLAINT, NOT GOING BACK THERE!
After ordering our party of 11 waited over an hour to be served. It was a Saturday afternoon and there was only one other table. Then they staggered bringing the food out so everyone did not get served at once. The first food brought was cold. It took 30 minutes for all the food to come and my 86 year old Dad and 82 year old Aunt we're the last served! When I complained the owner said they only have one chef! She was very rude.
