Nothing beats the service you get from the local shops....get your booze here instead of the big chain stores. Owner is very involved in the local community, great person. Always a fun little store to get your bottles.

I've lived nearby for about 7 years and this is my favorite of all the local package stores. They have an all around nice selection and competitive prices. The best part about Mermaid Liquors is the staff. They're all friendly and helpful. I only shop here, if I can help it.
She says " yes I do...but I only sell it to a few people who we know". As if I should have know that already !
Her nasty, borderline-snobby attitude cost her boss another 100$ or so as she put zero thought into what else I may have been there to purchase. (STOCKING UP ON MUCH MORE)

Pretty lousy. Came into the store and asked the older blonde-ish lady if the carried a beer called Lawsons Sip of Sunshine.
She acted strange and says "no".."welllll...actually I have a case but ...I don't know you."
I am thinking this lady is a weirdo...but I then say, " so...you do have some? "
