I bought 2001 v70 XC few years ago and found European on line. Gave them a try. The first two repairs were diagnosed and handled quickly and effectively. But something unusual happened. Both repairs came in under the estimate. Never saw that before. I appreciate it. Try to pay cash :-D
They're thorough, competent, affordable, and honest. Only necessary repairs are recommended. Cheaper alternatives are often offered. And they don't fool around with safety related issues.
I have been a European Auto customer since I first brought an ailing 240 in there in about 1995. Now, 22 years later, I drive from New York City to bring my XC70 to them for service. That's about the best testimonial I can offer.
Brought my Volvo xc70 to this shop and had jon and his mechanics fix a wheel bearing that was very noisy and warn out. The price far, they had free water and coffee, and there's a beautiful walking trail right across the street that you can walk while waiting for your car to get fixed! Jon was a very nice guy and even fixed a couple running lights for free! Definitely found my new favorite shop for all my import car needs!
A real pleasure to do business with. Jon is always super helpful. He obviously knows the Volvo 240 and V70 cold. I look forward to bringing more and more of my work to him.
